Chapter 6
★ Trapped in His Darkness ★

[Scene: Abandoned Warehouse – A Dark Stormy Night]
Rain poured heavily, crashing against the warehouse’s rusted metal roof. Inside, everything was silent—too silent. Only the occasional lightning flashes lit up the dark space.
A shiver ran down Pranavi’s spine. The eerie stillness made her uneasy.
She gripped her phone tightly. The screen was still playing that video—the one that humiliated her, made fun of her, turned her into nothing more than a viral joke.
She remembered that day in college… the embarrassment… the helplessness…
She had followed the guy who sent her the video. He had entered this warehouse. But now, he was gone.
And then—she heard footsteps.
Loud. Slow. Unhurried.
⚡ CRACK! ⚡
A bolt of lightning flashed outside, lighting up the warehouse for a brief second.
And that’s when she saw him.
Vedant Rathore.
He stood tall in the dim light, his dark eyes glinting as the storm’s glow reflected in them.
Pranavi’s breath caught in her throat.
Even in this silence, Vedant’s presence was overwhelming.

“So… you were chasing someone else?”
His voice was calm, almost lazy, but there was something sharp hidden beneath.
Pranavi took a step back. “Why are you here, Vedant?”
He smirked. “I thought you were smarter than this, Pranavi. By now, you should know… I never show up without a reason.”
Her fists clenched. “I don’t want to talk to you.”
Vedant ignored her and stepped forward, closing the distance between them. His voice turned colder.
“I thought you would have forgotten about that day in college by now.”
He tilted his head, eyes filled with mockery.
“But I guess your humiliation is just as viral as that video…”

The Breaking Point – The Fight Begins
Pranavi’s heartbeat raced. He dared to bring that up?
🔥 “And you?” she shot back, her voice filled with anger. “Aren’t you living like a murderer, Vedant? Doesn’t guilt eat you alive? Or did you bury your humanity along with everything else that day?”
For just a second—only a second—something flickered in Vedant’s eyes.
Pain.
But it disappeared just as quickly.
His face returned to its usual cold, unreadable expression. His voice was barely a whisper.
“Don’t talk about pain, Pranavi.”
🔥 “And you don’t get to talk about what I’ve been through, Vedant!” 🔥
Then, without thinking—
⚡ SLAP! ⚡
Her palm connected with his cheek. The sharp sound echoed through the warehouse, louder than even the raging storm.
But Vedant didn’t move.
The rain outside slammed against the windows, the wind howling like a beast.
And yet, inside the dark warehouse, Vedant stood frozen—his expression too calm.

And then—he moved.
In a blink, his hand wrapped around her wrist. His grip was tight. Strong. Unforgiving.
“This is the second time, Pranavi.”
His voice was dangerously low. A warning.
“Try it again… and I might just forget you’re a woman.”
🔥 “Let me go, Vedant!” she shouted, trying to pull away.
But he didn’t let go. Instead, he pulled her closer.
Their faces were inches apart, their breaths mixing in the cold air.
The rain had soaked both of them, but neither seemed to care.
Vedant leaned in slightly, his voice barely above a whisper.
“If I could stay away… I would have done it long ago.”

⚡ BOOM! ⚡
A strong gust of wind suddenly slammed the warehouse doors shut.
Darkness swallowed them.
The storm outside grew wilder, lightning flashing across the sky, briefly lighting up their faces.
🔥 Trapped. 🔥
Neither of them could leave.
Neither could escape.
One more spark…
🔥 And this fire would consume them both. 🔥
